Description: Main face of disused quarry (Hall Hill) 860 m. ESE of Inn at Whitewell. Clitheroe Limestone: knoll reef or Waulsortian build-up. Quarry face shows upward sequence from relatively unbedded bank facies wackestone on the left passing laterally and upwards into bioclastic wackestone and packstone of the flank-to-toe transitional facies overlain in turn by more planar-bedded packstone and crinoidal grainstone of the main flank facies.
