Description: Oblique aerial view from above the Earn Valley looking north across Moncreiffe Hill and the River Tay to Kinnoull Hill and the Sidlaw Hills in the distance. Lower Devonian lavas form the scarp of Moncreiffe Hill (foreground) and, beyond the River Tay, Kinnoull Hill and the Sidlaw Hills. The dip is to the north-west (left). The 50 m. high road-cutting (M90) in Lower Devonian lavas is clearly seen in the foreground. The motorway is still under construction in the photograph.
