At the right-hand end (off the picture) the underlying Lower Limestone and Scissum Beds are exposed (see A14118) and at the left-hand end (north end) the Oolite Marl is exposed. The strong flat- and cross-bedding visible are in the Lower Freestone. The foreground is mainly tipped quarry spoil. |
