Description: Gretton. Woolstone Hill Outlier. Woolstone Hill is composed of Dyrham Silts, the Marlstone Rock Beds and Upper Lias Clays, capped by Lower Inferior Oolite. This view from the east shows one of the Marlstone Rock Bed - capped spurs dipping south-west towards the centre of the hill. The hill on the left is Dixton Hill composed of Fyrham Silts capped by Marlstone Rock Bed. The foreground is in Lower Lias Clays.
