Description: Base of cliff S. of Kenneggy (Kenneggy Sands). Intrusive breccia vein. A vein of 0.12 m. width is parallel to prominent jointing in the adjacent Mylor Slates. The breccia consists of angular to rounded clasts of slate, granite and quartz on a chloritic rock flour matrix with scattered flakes of muscovite. Similar gas-fluxed breccias in this area are thought to represent an early phase of elvan intrusion. (Goode and Taylor Report Inst. Geol. Sci. No 80/2.)
