Description: W. side of Credenhill, Hereford. Adit limestone mine in main 'Psammosteus' Limestone. View from inside the mine showing sunlit face of limestone with roof of mudstone. The limestone is a mature pedogenic calcrete and is fairly massive. The top boundary is sharp with the immature mudstone-calcrete above.
