Description: Oblique aerial view of Hairy Ness, Eyemouth taken from the north-east. Berwickshire. The headland is made up of andesitic and basaltic lavas of Lower Old Red Sandstone age with some beds of coarse agglomerate. The less prominent rocks of Killiedraught Bay on the right, are a mixed volcanic assemblage probably filling an old volcanic vent. The outskirts of Eyemouth can be seen beyond the headland.
