Description: Highdown Hill, Ferring. Coast plain and Chalk dip-slope from Highdown Hill. View to north-east across Durrington to the Chalk dip-slope. The lower ground in the middle distance marks the outcrop of Tertiary beds within the centre of the easterly extension of the Chichester syncline. Head deposits conceal much of the Tertiary outcrop here.
