The finer gravel with thin sand beds of the middle division is largely covered by tallus. The clasts are a mixture of Welsh (Lower Palaeozoic) and local (Old Red Sandstone) rocks and the tabular ones are imbricated indicating a current direction from left to right (to 114 degrees - 124 degrees). |
