Description: Gravel-pit, S. of Brundon. Terrace gravels of the River Stour. Beneath an upper cryoturbated and possibly soliflucted rusty brown horizon the terrace gravels are well-bedded, poorly sorted flint gravels. Beds of sandy clay and clayey sand are also present (greenish hue to bottom right of photo). Below this horizon mammal bones have been recorded.
