Description: Gravel-pit, S. of Brundon. River terrace deposits. Cryoturbated clayey gravels from the 2nd Terrace deposits of the River Stour. The gravels are decalcified in the upper part of the sequence but with lenses of calcareous material preserved (pale coloured gravels to right centre). The uppermost metre of this section shows flinty loams (head).
