| Description: | Old quarry sited in new housing estate (Woodloes Estate) on N. side of Warwick. Bromsgrove Sandstone. Large-scale cross-bedded intraformational sandy conglomerates separated by a lens of fine silty sandstone. Pebbles are mostly small platy fragments of sandstone and siltstone aligned parallel to bedding. This lithology is common at or near the base of the formation. |
