Description: Ringwood Forest. Looking SW. Cross-bedding in Bracklesham Beds. The planar cross-stratification of these fine and medium quartz sands is clearly seen. It is truncated by the nearly horizontal-bedding of the overlying sands which pass up into laminated silty clays.
