The River Earn meanders on a wide flood plain between low bluffs. A distinctive feature of the valley is the development of large abandoned meanders. Evidence of this is seen on the right, the dog-legged shaped watercourse and near the left edge, a curved 'oxbow lake' can just be seen. |
