Description: Oblique aerial view of Strathearn looking west from between Belhie and Mill of Gask and showing the development of meanders in the River Earn flood plain. Perthshire. The River Earn meanders on a wide flood plain between low bluffs. A distinctive feature of the valley is the development of large abandoned meanders. Evidence of this is seen on the right, the dog-legged shaped watercourse and near the left edge, a curved 'oxbow lake' can just be seen.
