Description: Coast WNW of Morwenstow. Looking SE. Saturday's Pit Shale, Bude Formation. Sulphurous black shales contain calcareous nodules and coprolites. The nodules occasionally yield fish remains. The shales are overlain in the upper part of the cliff by thick, medium and thin-bedded sandstones with mudstones and siltstones.
