Description: Nedge Hill, Telford. Looking WNW. Nedge Farm and Telford New Town from Nedge Hill. At the bottom of the Enville Beds escarpment, the Eastern Central Primary Road (middle left) and Nedge-Stafford Park Sewer (middle right) are being constructed on the low ground formed by the Keele Beds mudstones. The higher ground beyond represents the Brookside Rocks basal sandstone of the Keele Beds hereabouts, and in the distance can be seen the wooded coal pit mounds of abandoned shafts through the Coalport Formation.
