Description: Henna Cliff. Looking E. Anticline and syncline in Bude Formation strata. A large anticline and syncline fold in Bude Formation. Sandstones, siltstones, mudstones and shales on Henna Cliff (137 m. high). The dark shale (Tom's Cove Shale) in the lower part of the anticline has flowed and cut across the sandstones above in a cuspate structure. The other dark shale seen in the upper part of the syncline is the Saturday's Pit Shale.
