Description: Oblique aerial view looking south-west from near Flisk to the Lomond Hills in distance with Norman's Law in centre middle distance. The area has undergone glacial moulding by the effects of successive glaciations. The crags of Norman's Law are formed of a distinctive Lower Devonian hypersthene-andesite lava flow of up to 130 m. thickness. The area is much faulted and this distinctive flow has been used for correlation across the faults.
