Description: Faringdon-Swindon Road. Looking S. View south to Longcot. The cornfield is developed on a gentle dip-slope of Coral Rag Limestone. The green field beyond the barn is on overlying Upper Corallian Clay capped by Shrivenham Sands (Upper Corallian). The Chalk escarpment forms the far distant hills with the corrie-like features of Whitehorse Hill in centre.
