Description: Long Hanborough. Looking NE. Upper Thames Gravels (Hanborough Terrace). Detail of photo A11901. Pipes of reddish-brown silty sandy clay containing pebbles of quartzite, quartz and chert. The pipes cut across the bedding of the buff limestone gravels and are believed to be due to solution.
