Description: Petit Tor Downs, St. Marychurch, Torquay. Looking northwards towards Watcombe Head. Oddicombe Breccia. Oddicombe Breccia, rich in Devonian Limestone cobbles, is seen dipping northwards overlying the Watcombe Breccia, composed of fine-grained slate and sandstone fragments. The Watcombe Breccia abuts onto a cemented limestone boulder talus deposit that forms the prominent buttress in the centre of the cove. The talus deposit mantles the Devonian Limestone that forms the vegetated ridge on the left-hand side of the view.
