Description: Creag Dhearg, seen from east shore of Loch Ruthven, Inverness-shire. The Moine/Old Red Sandstone unconformity. Vertical escarpment of Creag Dhearg is formed of coarse Old Red Sandstone conglomerate of the Inverness Sandstone Group (Middle Devonian), resting on an undulating surface of Moine rocks, which form the foreground and hill in left of picture.
