Description: The hummocky area right of centre is mixed glaciogenic and landslipped material, with the amount of landslipped material increasing towards the crags. Low ground underlain by the Great Estuarine Series, Valtos Sandstone Formation (Jurassic) with the scarp of the overlying Palaeogene (Tertiary) Eigg Lava Formation lavas to the right. An alluvial area behind the postglacial storm beach is crossed by a burn.
