Description: Quarry, 1400 yd. S. 40 degrees W. of St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Holsworthy. Looking WSW. Derriton Quarry (disused; Devon C.C. Depot). The largest inland exposure in the Holsworth district of typical Bude Formation strata; a small fault underlies the grassed feature at the centre of the photograph. Lithologies represented include massive, wedge-bedded and thin-bedded sandstones, grey and black laminated siltstones and black mudstones.
