Description: The cliff at the back of Alder Strand, 900 yd. W. 17 degrees S. of Trevigue, St. Gennys. Folding in the Crackington Formation. Crumpled recumbent chevron folds trending west-north-west - east-south-east and facing south. A strong fracture cleavage axial to the folding can be seen. The beds belong to the Crackington Formation.
