Description: The Ring of Brodgar, Orkney. A henge monument with two entrances enclosing a perfect circle of standing stones, situated on a narrow isthmus dividing the lochs of Stenness and Harray. This is one of the most northerly circle-henges in the British Isles, the other being the Stones of Stenness. These two monuments form part of an important ceremonial complex in the heart of Orkney.
