Description: Cockburn Law. Berwickshire. Panorama to north-west from Duns Law. A diorite intrusion forms the highest ground, Cockburn Law, and the ridge to its right. The high ground to left of the Law is composed of Silurian greywackes. The remainder of the area consists of Upper Old Red Sandstone, sandstones and conglomerates with basaltic intrusive rocks of Lower Carboniferous age. The Oxendean eskers can be seen in left middle distance.
