Description: Wanson Mouth, 3 1/4 m. SSW of Bude. Looking NE. Alternating shale-sandstone succession in Crackington Measures. Alternating shale-sandstone succession similar in lithology to those of the Crackington Haven area. The varying dip of the strata is due to faulting. The beds near the slipway (extreme centre left) have yielded fragments of Gastrioceras sp.
