Description: Cliff face, 500 yd. N. of Trebarwith Strand. Looking E. Boudins in sandstones and slates of the Middle Culm Measures. The boudins are separated across their necks by minor faulting. The stretch movements which produced the boudins caused by an early set of quartz veins in the sandstone to be sharply cut off against the slates. The resistance of these veinlets caused thinning of the sandstone surrounding them.
