Description: Prings Hill towards Woldringfold, Lower Beeding. Looking SE. Repeated Horsham Stone escarpments, by faulting, Woldringfold. View down dip-slope of Horsham Stone to an escarpment capped by Horsham Stone, repeated by strike fault which passes through the site of the white building in the valley. The Horsham Stone comprises an Upper Sandstone and a Lower Sandstone separated by approximately 10 - 15 ft. of clay. The feature at left, between the telegraph poles is formed by the upper of these two Sandstones, the slack ground in front being occupied by the clay. The escarpment is formed by the Lower Sandstone, upon which the cottages, in the gap in the trees, are built.
