Description: Prings Farm, Lower Beeding, near Horsham. Looking SSE. View showing the effect of oblique faulting on Horsham Stone escarpment at Woldringfold, near Horsham. The further corner of this field is underlain by Upper Tunbridge Wells Sand, separated by faulting from the viewpoint which is on Weald Clay (Horsham Stone). The ridge in the middle distance at right is an escarpment of Horsham Stone (at Woldringfold, TQ 208246) which is cut off, at left by an oblique fault running from behind the ridge at right cutting through it at centre and passing off the view at left in front of the line of the escarpment, so cutting it off. The South Downs form the skyline.
