Description: | Waterfalls in flagstones and shales of Ruchill Group, Lower Old Red Sandstone in Allt Ollach, a tributary of the Water of Ruchill, Glen Artney. Stirlingshire. Allt Ollach flows out of a hanging valley on the south-east side of Upper Glen Artney and plunges over these falls to join the Water of Ruchill, (below trees in foreground). The rocks are purple flagstones and red shales interbedded with coarse-grained purple pebbly sandstones and fine-grained conglomerates. |
