Description: | Ecclesiastical College, Maidstone. Kentish Rag as a building stone. A 15th century building, with Kentish Rag built in coursed rubble fashion. Superficial decay of the stone has proved no disadvantage, though mouldings round the pointed doorway and small windows have suffered badly. The first floor windows, roof and dormer windows are probably 18th century. |
