Coarse, poorly-rounded gravel of the highest level terrace representing north of the Crediton-Okehampton road. Boulders and pebbles are largely of Culm-derived rocks of local origin, with occasional vein quartz, hornfels and rare granite. The matrix is a clayey sand, usually of pinkish brown colour. |
