In the top left-hand corner is a large mass of vesicular lava caught up in the sandstone. Most of the darker material is purple lava and the lighter areas are dominantly sandstone. Overlying the volcanic rocks, on the right of the photograph, there is breccia of the Bow Conglomerates Group.
