Description: Outfall of Warnham Mill Pond, Horsham. Looking NW. Upper Tunbridge Wells Sand at Rookwood Farm. Section in well-bedded fine sandstone and silty sandstone showing two minor rhythmic units in both of which the rocks become gradually clayey downward. This change in lithology is reflected in the appearance (or 'habit') of the rock, and the manner in which it weathers. The section is within 20 ft. of the base of the Weald Clay.
