Description: Valley of the River Forth from Gowan Hill, Stirling. Looking east. Stirlingshire. Windings of the River Forth and the great plain of the Carse or 50 ft. raised beach. The Abbey Craig dolerite sill forms an 'island' in the 50 ft. raised beach or carse plain, and the feature formed by the high ground of the Ochil Hills in the distance rising abruptly from the plain marks the position of the Ochil Fault. Forms part of a panorama with C03043.
