Description: From West Hill, Hastings. Looking SE. Hastings Old Town and East Hill. East Hill consists of Ashdown Sand with a capping of Wadhurst Clay, the latter being responsible for the rounded summit in left half of view. White sandrock, close to the top of the Ashdown Sand, crops out in the bushy bluff along the straight brow of the hill, and in a less distinct feature above Clive Vale in left half of view.
