Description: Nant-y-garth Pass, about 2 1/4 m. WSW of Llandegla Church. Looking NW. Nant-y-garth Pass. A pre-glacial gorge at the southern termination of the Clwydian Hills. The view is taken looking down the valley, at a point where it traverses the Upper Valentian rocks. The Llanelidan Fault crosses the valley close to the point where a long white scar is seen on the right in middle distance. The pass descends about 480 ft. in a distance of three miles.
