Description: Mountains of Mamore Forest looking south from the summit of Ben Nevis. Inverness-shire. A dissected plateau. Mountains of interfolded Glencoe Quartzite and Leven Schists forming part of the West Grampian Complex. On left, in No. C1769, the light part in centre shows quartzite moraines, accumulations of unsorted material deposited by the direct action of glacial ice that has been carried forward from Binnein Mor (left) and Binnein Beag (right) over slope of Leven Schists. Sgurr Eilde Mor in the centre distance. Forms part of a panorama with C01770 and C0171.
