Description: An Steall, Glen Nevis. Inverness-shire. A close-up view of the waterfall 'An Steall' of the 'hanging valley' of Allt Coire a' Mhail. The hanging valley, at a higher level is above the waterfall. The waterfall flows over a small recumbent fold of Glencoe Quartzite in the Leven Schists. The latter overlies the quartzite where waterfall commences and underlies it where waterfall stops.The Water of Nevis occurs in the main valley floor in the foreground.
