Description: Near Low Stowbank, Kirkland, about 1 1/4 m. SSE of Rowrah Station, Lamplugh. Looking ENE. The Bankend esker and the fells north of Ennerdale. The view is a continuation to the right (southward) of that in A2765. The high flat-topped fell near the right margin is Herdus and Great Borne. The falling slope in the foreground is the E. end of the Stockhow Hall esker (A2765), and the bank in the middle distance on which four white cattle are conspicuous, is the ice-contact slope of the Bankend esker, here end-on, but seen lengthways in A2768.
