Description: Near Stockhow Hall, Kirkland, about 1 1/4 m. SSE of Rowrah Station, Lamplugh. Looking NE. Deltas and strand-line of Glacier-Lake Ennerdale. See 'Summary of Progress for 1921', App. I. Looking north-east from the east end of the Stockhow Hall esker (A2765). In the distance are the fells north of Ennerdale. The dark bank on the far side of the pool (kettle-hole) is a subordinate ice-contact slope within the outwash-delta seen in A2763-5. The strand-line is seen at the foot of the dark bluff beyond the ice-contact slope.
