Description: High Stowbank, about 1 m. SE of Rowrah Station Lamplugh. Looking SW. Strand-line at 600 ft. O.D. of Glacier-Lake Ennerdale. See 'Summary of Progress for 1921', App. I. The strand-line lies along the hedge at the foot of the dark bluff on the skyline, the light-shaded field to the left being within the area of the old lake. The steep bank below the hedge in the foreground is a continuation of that on the right of A2761. The tree-capped mound in the distance (left) is the Stockhow Hall esker (A2765) seen almost end-on.
