Description: 600 yd. N. of Nannycatch Gate. Looking N. Valley now occupied by the Nannycatch Beck. The valley has been cut by the waters of glacial Lake Ennerdale. The overflows at 700 ft. (+), 700 ft. (-) and 600 ft. (+) converge towards the head of this valley from the NW, and NE. The broad bottomed U shaped valley, characteristic of the overflow cut rapidly by a great volume of water, is well shown.
