Description: Manton kistvaen, about 2 m. N. of Fyfield. Looking E. Manton kistvaen. Denuded and collapsed chamber of long barrow north-west of Manton House. The stones are sarsens. The slab bearing the hammer exhibits what seem to be solution-furrows on its outer face, and sub-botryoidal prominences of concretionary aspect on its inner face (see No. A2726). The stone is wholly siliceous.
