Description: Oldbury Hill (N. side), Cherhill. Looking SE. Oldbury Hill and White Horse. Foreground on Lower Chalk, rising to escarpment of Middle Chalk at Oldbury Hill in the distance. A small thickness of Upper Chalk remains around and to the left of the Monument. Evenly spaced symmetrical combes indent the steep slope. The intervening spurs are furrowed transversely by lynchets. Earthworks of British camp show on the skyline to right of the White Horse.
