Description: | View from Daless looking north (downstream). Nairnshire. The building in the distance on the left is Drynachan Lodge, while Tirfogrean is just seen on the inside of the meander opposite Drynachan Lodge and below the prominent terrace. Succession of kame terraces laid down by meltwater at the junction of the valley wall and the retreating Findhorn glacier and alluvial terraces of the River Findhorn cut out of glacial deposits, marking stages in the lowering of the Findhorn Valley. |
