Description: Looking up the Findhorn Valley from near Quilichan. Nairnshire. Landforms and sediments between Daless and Creag a' Chrocain. Compare this photograph with D04271 taken in 1989. In distance - Findhorn gorge cut out of the high plateau. In middle distance on both the left by the buildings and above and on the right, on the other side of the river - kame terraces laid down by meltwater at the junction of the valley wall and the retreating Findhorn glacier. In foreground - alluvial terraces of river. The zig-zag track on the spur in the centre descends to Ballachrochin.
