Description: View from Polochaig looking south-west up the Findhorn Valley, 4.8 km. east of Loch Moy. Inverness-shire. Showing the effects of the stages in the retreat of the Findhorn glacier. Talus above moraine terraces. The lower terraces are formed of recent alluvium of the River Findhorn. The photograph forms part of a panorama with C01314. Talus is the coarse unconsolidated rock fragments formed by the progressive accumulation of rockfall debris beneath the steep rock faces.
